Kobe Bryant has told his 13 million Facebook fans his visit to the Australian Olympic swimming team last week was "a great opportunity and honour".
The American basketball superstar wrote that he happened to be staying in the same hotel as the Aussies in Manchester and "couldn't resist the chance to watch them train".
"I loved the attention to detail they put into their training and the methodical approach they have," Bryant wrote.
He said of Stephanie Rice: "I was lucky ... I had the chance to see the best in the world prepare and she is FOCUSED."
